Last Day of Work ;)

I feel complete and utter peace leaving my job at the NCS today. I look forward to the adventures ahead. The only thing that was hard about leaving work was leaving the people I love to deal with that hostile environment. Best of luck to you all. I love you and will cherish all the good memories :)

Great Talk with Vonda Jump!

Vonda Jump expressed her sincere apology today for all the wrong that had happened to me in December of 2011 and in May of 2012. For some reason I've been targeted by some members in upper management for no good reason. It's nice to know there are some members in upper management that have my back and recognize the unethical nature of this Beast! The very valuable lessons I've learned from all of this is that feelings of hurt, anger or being on the defensive is not worth it (Richard G. Scott talks about how these feelings prevent us from receiving inspiration and revelation from the spirit). So all I have to do now if forgive those who trespassed against me and move on. God please help me forgive because I'm having a hard time. There is a lot of hurt. I'm excited to report the good news when this happens :)

Logan Regional Hospital

Working my Mary Kay business today trying to set up shop at the hospital's break room at the Women Center. I don't know much about the rules in regard to break room facials; I tried looking on the MKintouch web page & found nothing.  I don't want to break amy rules, but I want to finish this year strong, so here I go! Get uncomfortable! I got the idea while listening to Monna's presentation on a Power Start Plus program her sister challenged her to do; she talked about facialing women at a Starbuck's break room and a her husbands law firm break room, so I figure all break rooms' are game if that companies okay with it.

Submitted my 2 week Notice to the NCS yesterday. I was a little nervous at first and originally wanted to wait till October. But when you know it's okay to move on and you try to stick around it makes it really hard to show up to work.

This is what the notice said:

Dear Pat,
It has been a pleasure and growing experience working here at the NCS-Cache Site Office.  I have valued and appreciated the many opportunities I have had to contribute to its great success.  However, it is time for me to move on to a new chapter in my life.  I am formally submitting my two weeks notices as of today June 27th, 2012. My last day will be July 11th, 2012.

I'm happy to report I have no regrets and I feel complete peace about moving on.
The challenge now is getting through the next 2 weeks.

Rose Todd Showed Up With

Marriage Enrichment

Todd & I where planning on leaving Logan @ 4pm to make it to Provo for our marriage enrichment retreat by 6:30pm, but we had to pick up our awesome phones from Matt (4G, Epic Galaxy II S) before leaving and I had to say  goodbye to Ada & Izzy at the Pet Hotel (I wish we could bring them with us and have them crash at the hotel). So we end up leaving at 6:30pm, but it was worth it. I love our grils.

So far this retreat has been a classy, private and intimate one.  When we arrived they had snacks available and they had couples share thier stories.  They had us right down question and sent the women to our rooms to write down our response and the men stayed downstairs wirting their responses.  After 10 minutes they sent the men upstairs to meet up with us to share what we wrote down.

Todd's key did not work so he knocked on the door, come to find out he knocked on the wrong door when the woman who answered was not his wife.  I told him, "hon, this is not wife swap."  We had a good laugh.  They also gave the men a red rose to show up to the door with.  It was very sweet.

Here are some of the questions they had us reflect upon:
1) Why did I come to this weekend?
2) What do I hope to gain?
3) What do I enjoy about our marriage now?
4) What am I willing to contribute to the growth of our marriage
5) What qualities of yours attracted me to you?
6) Wha do I love and appreciate about you now?

They have a couple share their story and gave us 2 set of questions to reflect up and share them with our spouse.  We did this a few times tonight.
