Sunday Todd & I attended all of church with Rollie Pollie. After church we ran over to Todd's parents house to set up dinner for our visiting teachees (Kristi's and Ashlee's family). We served 6 kids and 8 Adults. It turned out to be a huge success. The Lasagna and Salad were a hit. For desert we had my chocolate bunt-cake, brownies and Aggie Vanilla ice-cream. You could tell people were building connections with one anther and Kent Crandal mentioned that we (Jody and I) are the best visiting teachees his wife has ever had. He said he didn't want Todd and I to ever move out of the ward (that was nice to here). This has been my favorite ward, other than the one I grew up in.
I called Marion before dinner to see if we could use her home instead of grandma Rosalie since Denna planned a dinner with grandma Rosalie for Josh's birthday the same day. We found out about it a little to late, but fortunately we were able to use Todd's parents house. In the end it worked out better. There was more room to serve everyone and the kids had room to run around and play.
Today was a great day. Slept in till 10am. I tried to do energy work on Rosalie to help her distress, but that didn't work out to well (the work I did do whiped me out). All she did was laugh at the idea of it, so I had to stop and told her to let me know when she is open to it and I would be happy to help her out.
So instead we went on an awesome hike with the dogs up Juniper Trail. It was gorgeous; lots of snow. Todd played fetch with the dogs. He would also throw snowballs up in the air for Ada to catch (that girl can get some air).
I made a heart bracelet for Rosalie. She left before I could finish it, so I'll be taking it to her this Thursday.
Things I'm grateful for: I'm grateful that I enjoy cooking for other people. I'm grateful for my health and the ability to walk/jog up the canyon with my dogs. I'm grateful for Todd and his kindness. Last but not least I'm grateful I've been able to get to know grandma Rosalie.
